Some Myths About Water! Are You Well Informed?

Water is, no doubt, a solvent of life and humans must consume water every day. Water is also a universal solvent since it dissolves more substances than other liquid.  As one famous commercial says, "drink more water", it has become a catch-phrase that the general public are aware of the fact that it is beneficial to drink water. But how much water to consume exactly? 8 glasses of water per day? What about the total amount of just one cup of water? In this article, we are going to examine the myths about water and what experts have said in the past to help you drink water properly.

Myths About Water

Humans need to drink at least 8 glasses of water per day. This is a really common misconception that a lot of people would actually follow! The fact is that it depends. If we use 240 cc (8 ounces) as one cup of water, then 8 cups of water will be about 1920 cc (64 ounces). The way we consume water can be through food and water. As a result, we need to take into consideration of the total amount of water being consumed through different forms. In addition, we need to also take into account the fact that everyone is different in terms of weight, height, and body type. Also, external factors can affect the necessary water intake, such as the environment (desert, or rain forest), whether you exercise, etc... What is the correct measurement of water intake per day? The answer is your thirsty level! When you feel thirsty, drink water. It is as simple as that! Bottled water is better and safer to drink than tap water.Bottled water is not necessarily "cleaner" than tap water. One thing about bottled water is that it is examined through various facilities and testings. However, bottled water companies only have to report water quality in a certain period of time. It is possible that the bottled water can fail to meet the standards within reporting periods.   How can you be sure that the water is "clean"? If you are really concerned about water quality, you can look into a water pitcher, tap water filter, or a RO filtration system.  Boiling the water can kill all the germs and bacteria. In many Asian countries, it is common to boil the water and people drink it when it reaches room temperature. People claim that it is healthier for your body and it is cleaner than just drinking tap water. The truth is that it can kill some bacteria, but not all of them. Also, there are some viruses that cannot be killed and chemical substances that cannot be removed through boiling.  What can you do to remove those substances? You can purchase certain water filters that remove particular particles. Here is a catch, make sure to change the water filters regularly to prevent blocked pores.  For more information, please visit our website: https://www.eagopure.com/
